Wintering potted plants
I was excited to receive my Life Cycle Organics worm castings this week. I keep potted plants, some of them large, and have to bring them inside during the winter. Salts, from fertilizers, build up in the soil of potted plants especially during winter months when it is unsafe to take them outside to "flush" the soil with water. I love using worm castings in my plants because there is no build up of salts AND the added benefit of "bulking up" my potting soil which diminishes over time. I just pour it on top of the soil and water as usual. My thanks again to the folks at Life Cycle Organics for the speed with which I received my order!!!

    Stuff works good so far after my round of repotting and adding a small scoop or two of this stuff to each plant. Wanted something that had the nutrients yet mild enough to not burn your plants. Mixes well into the soil especially the chunky stuff. Try it.

    I have no ability to remark on the purity or veracity of this worm poop. I can only offer my anecdotal evidence:

    I use this as a soil amendment. I use this as a slowdrip feed by sprinkling it on top of the soil. I occasionally make worm tea. Based on how my plants seem to be growing nicely without the burning or crisping some other fertilizers may cause, I'm happy with this product. I have used this product to keep my 7 or so plants happy for the last 3 years.
