Is this an electronic/digital soil tester?

No, this is electrode-type soil moisture meter for house plants, not a battery powered soil meter, so it don’t need batteries. Also, it is not laboratory-grade soil tester, pls note.

Why the soil moisture meter, soil ph meter does not work?

There has 3 main reasons: 1. This soil tester is a soil meter and therefore is not use for measuring water or liquid. 2. The soil conditions too loose or too dry. 3. The soil meter is damaged.

Why the needle doesn’t move at all?

Don’t forcefully press the soil probe into hard soil/grass,as the soil meter will immediately scrapped. The 4-in-1 soil test kit have varying sensitivity to soil conditions,the electrode can’t detect the data when the soil is dry,loose,or too moist.

Why does the soil ph meter results different values in a single pot?

This may be due to uneven fertilization or uneven nutrient content in the soil, where fertilizers are concentrated the soil pH tend to be a c idic.

Why the light meter does not work indoor?

It is a sunlight meter for plants, when sunlight shines on the sensor, it can detect the sunlight intencyty. Please adjust the angle of the reading head and make sure the light sensor can grap sunhine, whether indoors or outdoors.
